So I think I mentioned that I joined Sabrina of Cattails + Cardigans for #ZabrinaSecretSanta . This was my first time participating in something like this and it was pretty cool to secretly put together a gift for a fellow blogger.  I had to shop for Jenny and you can see what I sent her here, http://www.magiccatjenny.com/2013/12/zabrinasecretsanta.html

Alexandra of A Gregarious Mess was a sweetie and shopped for me.  Here is a Keek of the packaging.

Thank You Alexandra and here is what I got!!

How this worked was we submit some of our favorite things when we sign up and also we were given the blog and twitter of the person we were to shop for to get ideas.

I love candles and fruity scents.

I love to read.

I love marshmallows!! + these socks are so cute.

So how was your Christmas? Have you done a secret Santa exchange before? Tell me about it.

My Nude'Tude

Hello Treasures, I hope you are all doing great! As for me, just doing a quick post for Make Up Monday.  I couldn't do my Captain Hook look because I am getting sick. I have a runny nose and just not feeling to well. My nose is so raw from blowing it so much. can't even imagine wearing make up right now. My eyes keep watering and just not one hundred percent right now.   I should be asleep but want to wait to find out who is going to win The Voice. I am team Jackie. Mr. Aguila is team Tashan. Anybody else watch The Voice? (I didn't finish this up yesterday so I am day late and Tashan won)

So I had shared about my HauteLook order on my "WHAT'S ON MY DELIVERY TRUCK" post.  Do you shop from HauteLook? If not you can do so by signing up here HauteLook Invite

I ordered two items from theBalm on HauteLook.  This was my first time placing an order from HauteLook as well as my first purchase of theBalm Cosmetics.

I had been wanting to try the NUDE ‘tude® Nude Eyeshadow Palette mostly because the packaging is super cute. I had been eyeing it but hadn't purchased it so when I seen it on HauteLook for just $18, (that's half price) I took advantage.  I also ordered timeBalm Concealer but that one isn't here yet.

I know I am probably pretty late on this palette and you all know already know and love it and if so I am so sorry but this is a new one for me.  It reminds me of a huge candy bar and the packaging is just so cute.  I got the "naughty" edition which I absolutely love.

I am the kind of girl that puts her make up on the go, and that's IF I even wear make up. I know so bad but that's the truth and so I love this candy bar like palette because it can easily fit in my bag.

The colors in this are anything but nude.  They are actually so pigmented and I am seriously loving them and makes me really want to wear make up and create different daily looks. (ok well at least it sounds good)

I know my swatches aren't the best and I am sorry about that but I am still sick so this was the best I can do as far as photos. I have been working on this post since yesterday and still not feeling my best.

Lastly the palette comes with a brush.

I haven't tried it out yet but I plan to do a few looks with this and I will share soon.

Have a good one lovely treasures.

I Confess

Yippee, it's confessing time. Have I told you that I love this bi-weekly link up with Agape Love Designs and Let It Shine.  Of course I have because this has to be my favorite post to write and my favorite link up.

I CONFESS...

I love writing these posts because I can just type random confession after confession and they usually just flow.

I am super excited that this is my 100th post!! It's been a struggle for me to keep up with my blog but I continue to push through. Thank you for joining me on this journey.

I begin to type this while me and Mr. Aguila were watching Wolverine.

I am not much of a movie watcher because I have a short attention span.  I usually lose interest easily and can't focus so I figured this is a great time to type up my blog.

I got stuck on the movie and starting typing this after the movie was done.  It is a good movie, have you seen it?

The movies that I seriously love and have to see at the theater are Fast and Furious movies. To be honest, I was really sad to hear about Paul Walker.  I am not sure how I feel about watching the movie next year.

I am not really big on following celebrities and stuff. I found out Paul Walkers name once he died.

I am finally getting into Christmas mode but we haven't gotten a Christmas tree.

Last week was my nephews birthday and my sister in love's birthday (my baby (nephews') momma. I was on birthday mode for them but celebrations were successful and now over so Christmas let's do this.

I love everything about this time of the year but most of all,  Jesus is the reason for the season.  While I love the gifts, family time and the food, I try not to get consumed and forget the real meaning of Christmas.

Mr. Aguila and I finally did some Christmas shopping tonight after our dinner date.  We hit Victoria's Secret and Ross and while I was shopping for myself, we did manage to get some gifts out of the way.

I am really obsessing over leggings right now and I found some solid colored ones at Ross for really cheap. I follow this shop on instagram, Kika La'Rue and I seen and reposted these leggings/tights that I fell in love with for my Christmas outfit but they are sold out.

After I posted them I was able to get them locally from my awesome friend Isela's Accessories & More and now I am hoping that she can get me these I seen on @ curlycraftymom who shared she got them at Lundy Jane's boutique. I checked and they aren't available, sad face!!
Aren't these cute??
As you know, I love to shop and even though I am always shopping for myself, I also enjoy shopping for others.

I joined some awesome bloggers for #ZabrinaSecretSanta and also doing Cara Box.  Have you heard of these?  Are you participating in any of these? Click the links to meet the awesome bloggers that organize these swaps.

Speaking of swaps, Maria-Isabel of Agape Love Designs and I did a swap, just because a couple months ago, (you can view our box reveals on KEEK, @ mrsaguila09 and @ agapelovegirl ) My confession on this is that it was my first swap ever and I totally sucked at it!!! I felt so bad that I had to send her out a second box a couple weeks ago.  I did send her everything on her wish list and just a couple extras BUT in comparison to what I received from her, my box was skimpy BUT I am pretty sure the second box made up for it.

I now feel I am prepared for my next swap. I have more insight on this, thanks Maria-Isabel.  Have you done a beauty swap?

There is still time to enter this sweet cash giveaway,  $500 CASH GIVEAWAY.
http://faithhopeandtreasures.blogspot.com/2013/12/500-cash-giveaway.html
I want to do a Captain Hook, make up Monday look but I am still not sure what I will use.  I have so many eye shadow pallets that I am sure I can come up with something.

My weekend was very chill, thank God! Mr. Aguila doesn't have class on Saturdays right now. This photo sums up Life as Mrs. Aguila on a Saturday morning.  My hubby (he still draws for me), my coffee and marshmallows.  Be Happy and Always Forgive Treasures.

It is now Sunday afternoon and I am barely finishing up this post while watching the Dallas Cowboys game, so yeah just a bit distracted.

Hope you had an awesome weekend. God bless you treasures. May this week be stress free and full of faith, hope and treasures as well love, peace and joy.

That Auntie Life

Hey Treasures, are you ready for Friday?  It has been such a busy week and the fun continues. Today I had to go to the laundry and tomorrow is my sister in laws birthday.
Tuesday was Sammy's 4th birthday, my youngest nephew.  We took him to his favorite place and he was all smiles.  I love this kid.
Say Cheese, Chuck E. Cheese!
I have three smart handsome nephews that I absolutely love.  They are such a blessing to my life.
I love my nephews!
My Godson and oldest nephew will be 17 next month.  I almost can't  believe it. Soon he will graduate high school and be a college student. Oh my!! He recently got an award from his high school and we are all proud of him.

My middle nephew is now in his first year in junior high school.  He is also very smart and always getting awards.  He does not like to take pictures with me.  Well he doesn't really like to take pictures at all.
Being silly with Manny and Sammy!
I am a very proud auntie.   A big part of Life as Mrs. Aguila are my nephews.  They all hold very special places in my heart. Each of them are a great blessing to my life. They bring me extreme joy and make my heart smile.
Celebrating Manny's 11th birthday!
For now I only have nephews. I am still my momma's only girl! Yes I am proud to say that. She really wants a grand daughter though but too bad soo sad. Sorry, NOT sorry. As you can tell I love being the only girl. It's all I know, HAAA!

So anyways, I love my nephews and so thankful that their parents let me be a big part of their life. I am blessed to be able to spoil them.  Even Sammy being only 4 knows he can ask his auntie for anything.

How many nieces and/or nephews do you have?  Tell me about them. I'd love to hear your story.

My Delivery Truck is on The Way

Hello to you lovely treasures!! How are you doing this fine evening? I'm blogging while watching The Voice. Blake Shelton is singing, Silver Bells. I am really loving all the Christmas music. It's such a beautiful time of the year.

So how did you make out for Black Friday and/or Cyber Monday? Did you do any shopping? I did way too much shopping but then again that's usually what I do. So here's a little peek at what I ordered last week through yesterday.

I love to shop online and oh I am going to take a rabbit trail because this reminds me of the message my pastor gave at church on Sunday.  He used an analogy that I totally was familiar with. He was teaching us about prayer and referenced Mark 11:24, "So listen to what I’m saying: Whatever you pray for or ask from God, believe that you’ll receive it and you will." (The Voice)
He went on to say that when we shop online, we put our faith in what we are ordering and how all we see is a picture and we want it so we ask for it (order it) and we believe that we will receive what we ordered. We are not able to see if its in the warehouse or even available and yet without doubt we place the order, pay for it and then we wait for it. We track our orders and wait in anticipation, with excitement for the item or items we purchased. We just trust that our orders are on the truck on their way to us.  He went on to say that in the same way whatever we pray for or ask from God, we must believe we will receive it.  It is on the delivery truck coming our way.
1 John 5:14, "We live in the bold confidence that God hears our voices when we ask for things that fit His plan."  (The Voice)

Ok so back to what I ordered online and believing to receive really soon.
HauteLook had theBalm Cosmetics so I ordered my first ever Balm items. You can join HauteLook here. I ordered the Nude'tude Eyeshadow palette. Do you have it?

I placed an order from My Beauty Addiction. I love this Whipped Jojoba Scrub.  I also ordered some eyeshadow samples and a slim tube lipstick.

I ordered some more hair fluffs from Mila Rose Designs.  Melissa had a great deal going on that I had to take advantage of
Glitter Fluff   //  Animal Print Chiffon Fluff

I participated in my first Instagram auction on Litvas_Jewelry Instagram. It was pretty fun.  I love her jewelry. Be sure to follow Sandra.

Lastly  I ordered some blouses from Sugar Love Boutique who was also having a great deal. I just couldn't pass this one up either.

I ordered the Audrey Top (I have it in mint and was on sale for just $10), Murphy Top and April Top.

Mr. Aguila took advantage of some electronic specials as well.  He is geeking out over them.

Now I wait to receive my orders and I know they, along with my answered prayers, are on the trucks.

A Recap of Thanksgiving Week

Hey Treasures, its Sunday night. I am blogging and looking for some Cyber Monday deals. Are you doing any shopping today?

I am going to share a recap of my week with you today.
I had a busy week that begin last Sunday with a birthday celebration for my brother.

This was an extra special celebration of life for my brother.
I am thankful to God for another year of life for my little brother. I know that this year will be his best yet. With lots of prayer and lots of tears, I have my brother back. My eyes fill with tears even now. I just found an email of one of the prayers me and my GIGs would pray for our brothers from 2009. #NeverGiveUpHope Love them through their struggles. #LoveConquersAll Keep sowing in prayer because we do get to reap a harvest. Happy birthday @boyroman I love you and I am so proud of you. I always have been 💖🎈🎁🎂🎊 #ilovemylittlebrother #lovemyfam

Next up is Thanksgiving and this year we went to my uncle's house where my granddaddy and family were. I had a really great time.  Family time is always a good time. I love my family. My sweater is JCP from JCPenney.
My necklace is from Avon.
My earrings are from A Little Piece of Me.
My headband is from A Little Piece of Me.

Finally, I wanted to share that I had a great privilege of going out to Tijuana, Mexico for a women's seminar, Construyendo Vidas Tijuana as a guest speaker. I shared about God's Immense Love.  I will share the message here this week. I just need to translate it. Did I mention that my message was in Spanish?  Yes I speak, read and write Spanish but this was my first time ministering in Spanish. I was so nervous but God is so good.
Stop by and visit this website and see what an amazing ministry this is. This is a chapter from Life Builders Seminars. I am honored to be a part of such a great movement. I was super blessed to go out to Tijuana, Mexico. These woman blessed my life and experiencing this with Mr. Aguila, my mother in love and the Sotos's was just amazing.  It was quite an adventure and I can't wait to go back.

As you can see,  I had a busy week and I am super tired but it was all worth it.
How was your week?

Thanksgiving Week

Happy Thanksgiving week lovely Treasures.  This week we emphasize giving thanks.  I personally try to give thanks to God on a daily basis.  On Sunday at my church, my pastor taught us some great keys out of Psalms 145.  Take a moment to study this Psalm. We can learn much about praising God's greatness here from King David.

Verse 2 of Psalm 145 says, "I will praise You every day; I will honor Your name forever and ever." When we are giving praise to God everyday, we become more and more thankful.  We can always find something to be thankful for. We can start with the many things we tend to take for granted; our relationships, our churches, our freedom, our homes, our families, our jobs, our cars, our friends and even what we wear, what we eat and so on.

In reflecting on my life in the past 30 something years, I am thankful that I am not who I use to be. There was a time, when holidays especially ones like Thanksgiving were just not my thing.  I would rather be alone getting blown rather then enjoying family time or eating.   While I have to be honest, I have not fully embraced the crowds and being around a lot of people, I am not isolated or filled with shame, bound in chains. That alone is a lot to be thankful for.  God has done a mighty work in my life and yes I still need more work and I am ready for more growth and continued transformation.

Psalm 145:7 says "They will give a testimony of Your great goodness and will joyfully sing of Your righteousness."
I want to give a testimony of God's great goodness, not to brag or boast or appear to be better than anyone but purely because so much has been forgiven and given to me that I want to share this joy that I now have because of what God has done in my life.

Here are somethings I am thankful for. ( I found this photo on social media and saved it to my phone and I don't remember where I saved it from, if its your picture, leave me a comment so I can give you credit, thank you).

Be sure to take some time to thank God for your blessings. Leave me a comment and let me know what you are thankful for.

My Lippie Collection

Hey Lovely Treasures, its Make Up Monday (ok ok, its Tuesday but this post is a Make Up Monday Post)
I have been on this lippie craze. I have to admit, I am not usually a drugstore make up kind of girl but it doesn't take much to suck me in. I love to shop so I started browsing through the make up aisles at CVS. I received my first EOS and Baby Lips in a swap package from Maria-Isabel of Agape Love Designs.  I quickly fell in love.

As a young girl, my mom would buy me these flavored Avon lippies and can you believe they are still available and they are only $0.99. I love the flavored ones, my favorite is still the Bubble Gum. I like the slick tint for some quick color to my lips, but I don't really like how it tastes. I always order these with my orders but always end up giving them away to my customers. They always have some for the different holidays with the different holiday flavors. Check my website for these.

http://victoriaaguila.avonrepresentative.com/

I also love the tint that Baby Lips have especially for those no make up days for me, I can just grab it and add a little color to my lips. I thought I had more than one of these but couldn't find anymore.

These oversized Wet N' Wild lippies are great also especially the price. I got these for like $1.79 on sale at CVS. Score!!! The flavor/scents are great and they do have some tint as well.

And last but not least my latest addiction are the EOS lippies. Target had them on sale for $2.99 so of course I had to get a couple. I hear Costco has a set of 5 for like $10.36. I don't have a Costco membership or I'd be all over those. My most recent find is my favorite thus far, Tangerine. I love anything citrus.

Here is the rest of my EOS collection. I have seen so many of these that I want to try. I love these especially for this time of the year because my lips tend to get dry and these are just so moisturizing and yet not all gooey and you can wear a lipstick over it.

So what lippies do you use?  Let me know which ones you have tried and if there is any others out there, I need to try.

I Confess Once Again

Hi there Treasures, I am finally sitting down in front of my computer which is actually a Surface so technically it's a tablet.

Anyway, I am going to do some confessing and link up with Agape Love Designs and Let it Shine. As I say every other week, I love doing these posts and love reading others as well. If you have some confessing to do, join the link up or leave me some confession comments.

Mrs. Aguila confesses...

I am so tired and really want to be asleep but I have really sucked at blogging these days so I wanted to get this in before I turn in for the night.

I like loathe washing dishes. I just washed a sink full of dishes before sitting down to blog because even though I hate washing dishes I hate having dishes sitting in the sink. Ah, wifey problems.

I am one of those that say I will start my "diet" and working out on Monday and then when I don't, I wait until the next Monday to say that all over again. I still have not got back on that fitness wagon, but I really want to. I am aiming to start my Monday off with Shakeology for breakfast.

I am seriously needing to get this adorable mug from the Starbucks Store.

I haven't been doing so well on my no spend November especially since finding out about this marriage workshop.

I ordered some items from some great online shops. Here's the details on what I picked up.

Since I love me some coffee, when I seen these Thanks a Latte cards by Eva Marie Taylor on her Instagram, I just knew I had to order them.  You can order them from her shop here. Make sure to check out the other items in her shop.
LIKE ON FACEBOOK FOR UPDATES ON THE SHOP
I also finally ordered my hair pretties from Mila Rose Designs. I wish I could order one of each item from this shop however I confess, I am clueless as to how to wear them. So until I learn, the ones I already own will sit pretty (with all the other stuff I buy and stash away) and I will hold off on ordering more. If you have any tips, let me know.
LIKE ON FACEBOOK FOR UPDATES ON THE SHOP
And last but not least I ordered some jewelry from Litva's Jewelry.  I love her Instagram account, be sure to follow her and stop by her shop. I love my bracelet and this ring is beautiful.
LIKE ON FACEBOOK FOR UPDATES ON THE SHOP
Since I started blogging, I have met some really talented ladies.  These are all handmade shops.  You can follow these ladies' blogs here
Eva Marie Taylor /// Mila Rose Designs ///  Litva's Jewelry

I am not getting paid to promote this lovely ladies and their shops. I just like to share the love. These ladies are a pleasure to deal with and I know I will order from them again.

I had no intentions of making this post a commercial but I am glad I did.

By now I am super sleepy and I need sleep.
I will posting about my lippie collection for Make Up Monday tomorrow.
